Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Registra platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Service. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and the operators of Registra.

Registra is a cloud-based operating system designed for dog breeders. Our Service provides tools for pedigree tracking, health record management, waitlist organisation, and client communications. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

In accordance with Section 44 of the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), if you are a natural person making a purchase for personal use, you are entitled to cancel any subscription without penalty within seven (7) days of concluding the agreement. However, this cooling-off period does not apply if you have already begun utilising the core services of the platform to generate or manage records.

To use Registra, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering your kennel.

You retain full ownership of all data, pedigree records, and client information you input into the Service ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant Registra a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Submitting intentionally false or misleading pedigree data.
• Using the Service for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or compromise the security of the platform.
• Scraping or extracting data from other kennels without permission.

Registra provides software infrastructure, not veterinary or legal advice. We do not guarantee the biological accuracy of user-submitted pedigrees or health records. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Registra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

For the purposes of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, our platform information is as follows:

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via alerts on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
